Sweet sweet baby

I have a girlfriend of mine whos whole world came crashing down on Monday. She went in for her weekly check up because she was 39 weeks along, she was due today. When she got to the doctor they tried finding baby Aidens heartbeat and couldn't. So they did 3 ultrasounds and said he had passed away. She delivered him on Tuesday. She got a photographer to take pictures of him and the time spent with him...let me tell you what I cried my little heart out through the slide show.
My heart aches for her. I could only imagine what it must feel like to lose your baby. Ikaika is my whole world, and to have that taken away - I would die.
You never realize how delicate our lives are and how they can be taken away from us. I sometimes lose my patience with my monster, but I am now thankful I get those moments of him driving me crazy
Tina, I don't know if you read my blog but you are one strong, amazing, beautiful, mother and I admire you. I pray your pain goes away. I am so sorry this happened to you.  I hope one day you and Joe can move forward from this tragic situation and have a little brother or sister for Aiden.

Michelle Featherstone + Sweet Sweet Baby

Sweet Sweet Baby, I said maybe
Maybe you should stay with me
Sweet Sweet Baby, I think maybe
Maybe you shouldn’t leave
Sweet Sweet Baby, I go crazy
Crazy when I think of you
Sweet Sweet Baby, I go crazy
If I can cuddle up to you

So baby, oh baby,
Please don’t go
Yeah baby oh sweet baby
Please don’t go

You’re the only one
You’re the only one
You’re the only one
For me
You’re the only one
Yeah the only one
You’re the only one
For me

Sweet Sweet baby, Can you save me
Save me from a night without you
Sweet Sweet baby, Can you save me
The way that I am going to save you

So baby, oh baby
Please don’t go
Yeah baby oh sweet baby

You’re the only one
You’re the only one
You’re the only one
For me
You’re the only one
Yeah the only one
You’re the only one
For me
You’re the only one
Yeah the only one
You’re the only one
For me

funnn with ze cousinnn

Sooo happy 4th of July everyone!!  :)

Today hasn't been very eventful in the Davis casa.  At 9 am Kaika was in a kiddie parade in our neighborhood.  They all got on their bikes (the little ones walked) and rode around our block...Kaika made it to the end of our street and walked back home.  He had fun though.  It was really cute.  Then we went swimming, and all the time I was trying to get Kaika to take a nap.  He felt that he was a big enough boy to stay up 6 hours straight.  He NEVER does that, he stays up 2 in the am takes his first nap and then like 4 hours later takes a nap.  Not today.  So I've been wanting to make these cookies for the last couple weeks.  They are Oreo stuffed Chocolate Chip cookies.
Mine didn't turn out nearly as pretty as these did.  My cousin Tyler helped me make them.  We're gonna open up a bakery. HA SIKE! But we do make a good team.  Today Sonny has to go back to Ely, so in a few hours I am going to go drive him down to either Coyote Springs or the Loves gas station to meet up with his friend.  I'm not looking forward to that. :(

Here is a picture of Ty Ty and I being retarded. JAM SESHHH HOLLLA!

HOLY COW I'M STILL ALIVE!!

Well hi guys!! I'm so disappointed in myself.  I have neglected my blog beyond belief. Oye!! It's just so hard to keep up with this let alone play on the computer with a ONE YEAR OLD!! Yep Kaika is one now.  Where did the time go!? I miss my little baby boy, because he's not a baby boy anymore.  Today at the doctors they had him stand against the wall to measure his height.  AND not only did they do that, but they said his height in feet opposed to the inches they do for infants.  **insert dramatic tears here**

kaika when he was born! 6 lbs 15 oz 20 inchs long

Kaika and mommy at Uncle Ian and Auntie Lo's wedding.
Year old, 23 lbs 2 1/2 ft tall!

So man, I don't even know where to begin, geeze the last post I made about our lives was in January.  I've got a whole lot of catching up to do.  **big breath**

Kaika started crawling and walking in April, that was a VERY busy exhausting month for mommy.  Baby proofing is nearly impossible.  We've got ourselves an electrician on our hands. And a chef, a geologist, a janitor (woohoo let's hope he keeps up this passion for sweeping when it comes time for chores!) Sonny got his associates in applied science! YAY BABE! I, well I keep the house a flowin.  Although I found out that I could possibly be able to use my GI Bill now due to a new change they made to it.  They say if you've been in for 180 days or more you can use your GI Bill, well guess what folks, I was in waaaay past that. KAAACHING.

Sonny got the job in Ely at the prison! I am so proud of him.  He's in the academy up there right now and Kaika and I are still at the in laws until we can find a place to move to. (DO NOT get me started on that, it's sooo stressing me out. Just check out the zits on my face. gahhh)  Although I am scared that something may happen to him I keep reminding myself I'm not married to no sissy lah lah I'm married to a hunky, buff, brave Hawaiian who knows how to handle himself and someone else if they try to get loco on him.  :) I actually am looking forward to moving out to Ely.  Although I LOVE being a SAHM I am going to work part time up there at the grooming salon I used to work at. YAAAAY!! So I'll be able to live both my dreams.  Staying at home with my perfect little monster, and cleaning dirty doggies!

kaika swimming!! it's his favorite thing to do.
opening his first present!!
Kaika now has 4 teeth, 2 one the top (with 2 more coming in) with a giant gap right between those bad boys! SORRY SON! and the 2 on the bottom.  He knows how to use them and isn't afraid of it either.  He does not hold back.  If he gets mad at you he gets this crazy look in his eyes, starts shaking his head, screams and then tries to bite.  Shizzz hurts! We just celebrated his first birthday and man birthday partys are stressful! We had it at Sonnys brother Joeys house in Vegas.  It was fun, we went with a Toy Story theme because kaika loves Toy Story.  We had a bouncer (thanks to uncle and auntie joey and joy) some hamburgers, hot dogs, fruits, veggies, stuffed cream cheese jalapenos wrapped in bacon (big hit) cake, ice cream, cupcakes, a pinata (which I forgot to pull out for the kids to take a whack at) and Kaika got tons of amazing gifts from everyone.  He loved all of them.  He got a refrigerator toy with farm animals, he likes to eat them.  A sandbox! A ball pit, another stand up toy that makes music thingie mabob, some clothes, books, kid got some awesome gifts. Over all it was a great time, except I was exhausted. lol Kaika LOVES to growl and he growls at EVERYONE and EVERYTHING.  He doesn't care, he will growl at you if he wants.  He knows how to shake his head no no, and point his finger and say no no to you.  He's a crack up!! Aww I love my bug.  He's sleeping right now, and writing this I'm smiling and I want to go cuddle with him so I am going to go BUT I promise to keep everyone updated more.
this was his birthday invitations!

day ocho

Day Eight: Post a photo that makes you laugh. What made this moment so funny?

This picture is not the original picture I wanted to post, BUT I can't freakin find it.  So this one will have to do. sigggggh.
So this person you see here is Carlos.  Carlos and I met in the Air Force... we met the day we left boot camp.  We both had the same orders so we were wing men for each other.  Well he was pretty much my life saver.  I had the worst sun burn I've ever had and he carried my bags plus his. Well we had 2 other people with us, Whenrey (I hated that beezy and Campbell. He hated us. lol) Well some how because I have the WORST luck ever, only Carlos and I missed our flight and ended up going on a different flight. Way later. Like waaaaay later.  And we had the orders for all four of us so the other two couldn't go on base without us. haha suckers.  Anyway, from the first day we met we became best buddies.  We were each others partners in crime, to say the least. We were always up to no good, in Germany we would convince people to swallow tablespoons of cinnamon and watch them barf. hahah or we convinced each other to let him punch me in the butt to try and make me crap my pants, BUT only if i could slap him in the face with a ruler first. hahahaha omg. hahahahahahahah I'm seriously dying right now laughing so hard. So this picture is hilarious to me because, you see, Carlos doesn't have blond hair...in fact during this picture he had no hair.  Good ol old fashion military cut.  He's in civilian close cause he's in phase 2 and we could were civis on the weekends.  Anyway, a friend of ours had wigs because she had short hair.  Well Los put this wig on a few different times.  And it was just hilarious.  In this picture he's acting like a surfer dude.  God I can hear him talking in his surfer voice right now.  Freakin a. The original picture I wanted was him in this wig, wearing a white shirt, no hat, and rubbing his nips. Its seriously so hilarious. oh man.  Gosh, I have made some of the greatest memories with that kid.  Not only on our way to tech school, in tech school, and in Germany and the places we've traveled.  He's a great guy, and I'm so lucky and thankful to have him as a best friend.  Love you Carlos Michael Pablo Najar Junior the II.  Thank you for being so awesome, and sharing some of the best times ever.
****I FOUND THE PICTURE!! THANKS TO CARLOS. hahahahah he's such an ugly girl. lol I love it. hahahahahahaha****

K have a good day <3

day seven

Day Seven: Post a photo of your most treasured item. Why is this item special to you? How did you come to own this item?
Now, before you go assuming that my most prized possession is my son pump the breaks! Although he is the GREATEST THING EVER he is not who, or should I say what I'm talking about. I am talking about that wonderful amazing silky blankey he is wrapped up so preciously in. That blanket was(is) mine.  My mother made it when she was a young girl, around 8 or so.  And then she gave it to me! :) Well I carried that thing with me EVERY WHERE. I'm not even exaggerating when I say every where.  It was so giant too...God I love that blanket.  Anyway, in 8th grade my best friend was getting ready to move to Montana and we thought our lives were going to end with out each other.  So what does my smart ass think of?!!? I decide to rip my blanket in half and give her half of it "so she will always have a piece of me with her" We were so gay! Anyway, my sophomore year my mother successfully threw away my half.  Now I say successfully because she had tried numerous amounts of times prior to that at throwing it away...and failed...miserably. SUCKER! Whenever she would throw it away my dad, or my step dad, or someone else would get it out of the trash and give it back. AFTER THEY WASHED IT OF COURSE...although I would have slept with it no matter what.  Well Sophomore year I let my little brother Michael sleep with it because his magically disappeared.  I had ripped a hole through it so I could wear it like an apron and so she couldn't throw it away while I was sleeping.  Clearly my little bro didn't get the memo...hide that blanket whenever you are not going to be home.  She threw it away. *insert sad face here*  Well a few months ago Ikaika and I went to go visit my BFF Ashley and she pulled it out of her storage and we went down memory lane looking at pictures, and reading notes of how boy crazy we were, and how much we loved each other, and then she handed over the blanket. I wanted to cry I was so excited.  That thing is just so soft, and so comforting, and its something that I have that reminds me of my mom.  I have converted Kaika to using that blanket rather than his cute blue blanket given to him as a gift. No No, he will love the silky, and he will keep it forever. And he will be my squishy.  I'm going to go snuggle with him and my our blanket.

day six

Day Six: Post a photo of a person you'd love to trade places with for a day. Why did you choose this person? What do you admire most about their life? What can you do to make your life more fulfilling?

If I could trade places with ANYONE... I would trade places with my step dad, 9 years ago.  I would have made sure he wouldn't have died.  I would have prevented all of this pain and emptiness from happening. I would have made sure my family would have never been torn apart.  I also would have loved to switch lives with him because he truly was the most amazing man I have EVER met.  He had zero enemies.  He had the stupidest jokes, he was so sweet.  He was compassionate, and charming, and honestly the greatest guy I have ever met.  I hated him when I first met him.  And I mean I HAAAAATED him.  My mom and dad had just divorced, and there this guy was.  Trying to act like my dad. Screw that. I did everything to sabotage the  relationship between him and my mother.  And no matter how rude I was to him, he was always so kind.  He would have me over and let me play on his computer, buy me slurpees, and just talked to me like he was a friend and not trying to replace my dad.  I ended up loving him as my father.  Don't get me wrong I love my dad so much, but Pop was special.  He showed us all how to love.  I mean even my Dad was friends with him.  How often is the ex husband and husband friends?! Uhhh never.  I just wish he was still alive.  It's been 9 years since he went missing to this day...and it still hurts just as much.  Tomorrow Sonny, Ikaika and I are going into Vegas...and we're going to go visit Pops grave.  This will be the first time I bring Ikaika there, and it hurts so much to know that he will never get to teach him how to change the oil or the spark plugs in the car like he taught me.  I hate January. I miss Pop so much.  And I am going to strive to be more like him so I can have him with me always.

RIP Richard Charles Carno.  You are the greatest man, I will ever know.

Two ducks are in a bath tub one duck says, "hey can you pass me the soap?"  The other one says, "what do I look like a radio!?"

day five

Day Five: Post a photo of your favorite memory. Why is this your favorite memory? What made it so special?
This is a tough one. Favorite memory of all time?! I don't have just one.  I have SOOOOOO many. Seriously, I could post pictures for days on this post.  So many great memories. This picture though was a GREAT memory.  It was right before I left for the Air Force. Ayana took Michelle and I to Vivid (what is now Toa) We got trashed. Beyond trashed in fact.  Sex on The Beach was the drink of choice, and I'm pretty sure we each had AT LEAST 10 of them. This bed that we are so seductively posing on was behind the bar and we were the only ones allowed on there. Yeah, we're that good.  Anyway, it was seriously SO MUCH fun.  I remember Shell and I were done for so we called Larry (whom I had the biggest crush on at the time) to pick us up. Luckily he was right down the street.  So we're walking through the Venitan wasted, holding on to each other, trying to find the front doors to meet Larry.  By this point my shoes were off, and I'm walking barefoot around the casino actin a fool.  When we found Larry we jumped in his truck.  Shell threw up quite a few times and all I remember was that her barf was bright pink.  It was hilarious.  That was so much fun.  I always have so much fun with my lover.  Good times, good times.  We actually were just talking about this last week when she was in town.  Gosh that was so much fun.  <3 LOVE YOU LOVER
